TEFL Thailand Instructors
James Heard
James Heard has over 14 years TEFL experience working in Korea and Thailand. He has taught a wide range of students- including kindergarten students, primary and secondary school students, university students, post graduate professionals, and people in the hospitality industry. His experience includes teaching classes in all areas of English education- conversation, reading, writing, listening and pronunciation. He has also authored several e-books on English education.
Mr. Heard’s educational qualifications include a bachelor’s and master’s degree in education from the University of Arizona. In addition, he was awarded a Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from the University of Edinburgh.
Of teaching English he says “Becoming an English teacher to non-native speakers has changed my life. It has afforded me the opportunity to see more of the world, exposed me to the differing cultures, allowed me the pleasure of establishing relationships with people the world over, and gain a degree of financial freedom that would not have been possible if I had remained in my dead end job back home. If people want to change their lives for the better, then becoming an English teacher in a foreign land is definitely a fun and rewarding way to go”.
